#6 - The Monkey Journal
Welcome to this new episode of the Monkey Journal! The last one of the year 2022 (we know you're sad!)
Since the last issue of the Journal des Monkeys, the boxes of La Fabrique by Jordan Victoria have finally been sent!
And we would like to thank you for all the messages we have received! This box set is by far the biggest project we have undertaken. We learned how to design a box set with a top company (sorry, we'll keep their name to ourselves!), we discovered that the texture of the book cover poses quite a problem for the design (Camille Cassaigne still dreams about it at night... But don't worry, it will soon be more than a distant nightmare) and we discovered the assembly line work to make the tool boxes (assembling the card cases, putting the magnets in the bags, cutting the roughing stick, making the wire spools...).
So, a big thank you for all the messages of support and all the orders we have received! This adventure could not continue without you! THANK YOU!
That's it, the Christmas rush is over and the magic shows are over! To conclude this colorful season, the entire 3 Monkeys team went to see Florian on stage. A slightly unusual show since he shared the stage with a full orchestra. It's not easy to find a place among all these wind instruments! But Florian did brilliantly: while highlighting the work of the musicians who replayed classic movies, he made young and old dream with his flying table act, the five cards or even his bowling ball!
Tell us if you have ever played a show accompanied by an orchestra! We would be happy to have your impressions on this far from easy exercise!
If you follow us on Instagram, you must have seen a few photos, at the beginning of December, of a Breton magician who came to visit us! Yes, it's no longer a surprise, but Meven Dumontier shared 3 days with us, in the bitter cold of Clermont (sorry Meven, you didn't come on the right weekend...). Three intense days during which we took all the photos for his next project as well as the video of a slightly special trailer. Congratulations Pauline for having done almost 18 hours of shooting in two days! We won't tell you more for now, but you're going to discover a new side of our favorite Breton card reader!
We would be lying to you if we told you that we did nothing but work during these 3 days.We also went to restaurants! A real culinary marathon: Brazilian meat rodizio (well done Meven who devoured almost 7 meats in one evening!), pig's trotters, truffade and even wagyu! Don't worry, Meven hasn't gained an ounce and he's still as handsome as a truck! To compensate for this calorie gain, we shared Meven's other passion: climbing! Victor showed us his feats, he's also a great enthusiast, Florian, for his first time, thought he was a real chamois, and Thomas kindly watched the others, lying on the mats (let's just say that it's not really his thing!). In short, a hell of a weekend that will very soon turn into a new project available on our site! But in the meantime, here are some photos:

We also received quite a few messages about our Advent calendar. We had a blast making it and looking for nuggets to offer you. A big THANK YOU to the artists who played the game and generously shared one of their creations! We will leave the calendar available online until December 31st. On this subject, we will send you, in a future newsletter, a small survey to know what you thought of this calendar, what you preferred and whether or not this initiative should be repeated next year! We hope that many of you will respond! So thank you in advance for your help!
And here we are, this new episode of the Monkey Journal is coming to an end. As usual, we will publish our 2023 greetings letter in January.So, we'll spare you further thanks in this newsletter which is already much too long!

Ps: Meven has returned to Brittany but one of our informants tells us that he misses Auvergne! Legend or reality, it's up to you to judge!
