"Meven Dumontier is a creative mind. There is expression in his hands. His style is truly his own. His passion comes from within, and that impression of magic is definitely there. Beware, he is capable of surprising us!"

Bébel

"Friends, here is Meven, the guy is friendly, easygoing. He presents to you fresh magic, just like him, with routines accessible to everyone and others more technical, there is something for every taste. Meven is a little name that is ready to grow. Good luck to you, comrade."

Bernard Bilis

"When I met Meven, I quickly realized the potential this young man possessed: knowledge, creativity, all complemented by impeccable technique and a presentation style uniquely his own and very pleasant. It is clear that this young boy has a very promising future in our small circle of card magicians!"

Mickaël Stutzinger

Description

Prepare to cast off and set sail on an adventure in search of new treasures…

Captain Dumontier presents to you, in collaboration with 3 Monkeys, his new book "The Miscellanies."

Thunder of Brest, what is this gibberish? Miscellanies are simply a varied collection of texts.

I hear you chatting from here about the book’s content, so I’ll tell you more: you will find tricks, techniques, theories, anecdotes, and even puzzles… In short, plenty of wonderful surprises to sink your teeth into (whether they are gold or not, muahaha).

A book full of treasures

Captain Dumontier has sorted through his notes and gathered, for you, unpublished writings he has carefully kept for years. The buccaneer you are will never be the same once you have read this book. Indeed, you will never read a book again without doing small creative exercises, you will never use the Tilt the same way again, you will no longer do your pivot change as before, and you will even have advice on how to charm the most beautiful maidens at the tavern. The book itself has been given special attention: we had a beautiful hand-bound imitation leather cover made! Enough to show off on your galleon and make the saltiest sailor you meet jealous.

Captain Meven Dumontier

For those who don’t know the captain, here is an overview! Meven Dumontier is a passionate card magician with immense creativity and the technical skill of the greatest. He has surrounded himself with and been inspired by top names in card magic such as Bébel, Carlos Vaquera, and Bernard Bilis. Each explanation of a routine or technique is described with great detail and magical bibliographic references.
