An engaging book in which Geoffrey takes us to the heart of the turnover cut with generosity and passion.
Geoffrey has dissected a movement we all know: the turnover cut, making it accessible to everyone. He has exploited its full potential to write a 334-page book!
This book contains a true autopsy of the turnover cut. But that’s not all! The working method and numerous ideas will allow you to go further in your magic. Are you afraid of the turnover cut? Don’t know how to do it? Or perhaps you think you don’t need it? Reading these pages will prove otherwise, and you will soon be able to count one of the most powerful techniques in card magic among your skills!
In addition to the videos, the 281 photos in the book will allow you to directly see the finger positioning, packet handling, the various breaks… Moreover, a red square, shown transparently, indicates the important areas of the photo!
In the book, you will find routines and ideas of all levels, from basic to advanced. The CHICAGO TOPENER routine is one of the team’s favourites: A card is chosen and then placed back into the deck face up. The magician waits for a change on the face of the card, but it never happens. The magician turns the card over: it is the back that has changed colour! The experience is repeated with a new selection, and attention is focused on the back of this new card. As before, the back’s transformation never occurs. The magician then turns over the deck to show that the two selections have swapped places!
Do not be mistaken, this book is not only about the turnover cut. Beyond this technique, Geoffrey presents a working method that allows you to make the most of all the techniques you know! Imagine, with a simple turnover cut, being able to perform transposition effects, sandwich, collector, biddle trick, open prediction, and much more…
